WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908. and the Counties Act, 1908, for certain public works, to wit, for the purposes of a store 4 site, quarry, and gravel pit in Blocks XI, Totoro, and IV and XV, Orahiri Survey Districts: And whereas the Waitomo County Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by maps, and also a statutory declaration, as required by the Public Works Act, 1908: Now, therefore I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Counties Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto js hereby taken for the pur poses of the said stores site, quarry, and gravel pit as from the date hereinafter specified, and shall vest in the Chairman. Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitomo; and I do also hereby direct that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.
