The Casualty competition yesterday was won by Wellington Suburbs .£7, Opaki second, XL The Observation and Mutual Assistance match was by Auckland, 100, £7, New Plymouth, Hl.'), second, AM. The Superiority of Fire match was won by Akarana, 'V,I, .t'7, Auckland being second with 01, .*'•!. Wellington Suburbs are loading in the aggregate.
Shooting wan continued this morning in line weather, with a strong steady left rear breeze. The Standard Test match, as authorised under the regulations for musketry course, and Vanishing Target match, MOOyds, seven shots were taken simultaneously. The former match includes grouping', snap (shooting', application, and rapid firing 100 yds, MOO.vds, .'.OOyda and ;?()oyds respectivley. So far the top scores are Soper (Tuamarina), Roofs (Patea) 7 5 .), >it of a possible 85; Lovoday, (Ohura) 7S, Montgomery (Dunedin) 77. The match will not be completed to-day.
