SAD OTOROHANGA FATALITY.

By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent. Otorohanga, Thursday. Cecil Cater, a lad about ten years of age, while on his way home from school, called in at a metal quarry, to see his father, who had a team there. A big slip occurred without any warning, and fell on the unfortunate lad's head and shoulders. The father and friends soon had the boy out. He was bleeding from the mouth and nose and was unconscious. Dr Leeper was called, but the hoy died about 8 o'clock without recovering consciousness. Deceased was the only son of Mr C. Cater, a much rej spected settler on the Te Raumauku road.
