Professor Percival, of the Freburg University, Switzerland, has arrived here en route to New Zealand to investigate the thermal phenomna of the Dominion.
In an interview he said that the nest of volcanoes around Auckland was never likely to become a menace. The whole tendency of volcanic agency wa3 towards a coining end. The thermal phenomena at Rotorua would slowly cease.
It was unlikely that there would ever be another Tarawera eruption.
