TENDER TERRITORIALS.

OBJECT TO FORD RIVER. [BY TKLKGRAPU.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Thi3 Day. During the territorial manoeuvres yesterday a slight trouble occurred. When the regiment was crossing the Hutt river the bulk of 500 troops had waded the ford, but about 30 men of one company declined to pass over, the reason being that they were foot sore after a strenuous week, and did not contemplate with pleasure the passage over the boulders. They were sent back to camp, and will b9 asked to explain their conduct to-day.

The incident is not considered one of serious insubordination.
