AN ADMIRALTY MINUTE. London,, Wednesday. The Lords of the Admiralty have reorded their regret at the loss of Captain Scott and his comrades. Their minute says: "Their lives proved the constancy and the resolution with which tiiey carried out their duly. The Lords of tho Admiralty consider their loss should be regarded w< if they had been killed in action. Their story will be long remembered with honour by the navy." The Royal Geographical Society has received a cable from Rear-Admiral Peary expressing his sympathy. Ho adds: "Their names will bo the Southern Cross of exploration in the Antarctic."
