STOCK IMPROVEMENT URGED

Mr Cherry, veterinary inspector attached to the Commonwealth Office in London, in a report, urges the necessity of improving Australian stock strains fo beef and mutton purposes. He saw at Swift's shops at Smithfield a display of Argentine beef and mutton which had been dressed in England. This was a great advertisement and showed the keenness of the Argenine for tthe British market.
