The Ohura Show, held on Thursday, was highly successful, with good weather and large attendance. Messrs Gadsby and Slack were the judges iii stock classes. There was a good show in dairy cattle. The Champion Cup, for best dairy cow, presented by Mr Phillips, was won by R. Weinberg. J. Lyon took all sheep prizes. Among horses J. McDonald's draught stallion was first and second. There was fine show of hacks and the heavy-weight and championship was won by J. O'Brien's Tui, of Te Kuiti. N. Williams' Paddy was awarded firßt in light weight and lady's hack and second in champion classes. Competitions afforded keen contests. Best lady rider was won by Miss Bell with Mrs Wooie second. Hunting: Luttrell 1, Bennett 2, White 3. High jump: McLean 1, White 2, Bennett 3. Driving: P. Mora 1, J. Steel 2, J. O'Brien 3. Best turn-out: Orchard 1, Mora 2, | O'Brien 3.
