TE KUITI RACES.

ACCEPTANCES. The annual meeting of the Te Kuiti Racing Club will be held at the racecourse, Te Kami, on Thursday, February 6th, 1913, and a record meeting is looked for. During the past few months the committee have made considerable improvements to the appointments, amongst which they have enlarged the totalisator house, which will be appreciated by the betting public. The course itself has received attention and is in splendid order. The arrangements for catering are in Mr E. J. Thomson's hands, and good music will be supplied by the Oparure Brass Band. The committee are desiruus of making the meeting an enjoyable day's outing, and the portion of the course towards Hangatiki is admirably suited for picnic parties, and it is hoped full use will be made of this portion of the grounds by families. Hot water will be provided free by the committee. A train will leave Te Kuiti for the course at 11.45 a.m., returning about 6.15 p.m. The goods train leaving for Taumarunui in the evening will have carriages attached.
