Wellington, This Day. A hundred and five delegates representing over eighty trade unions, met in conference yesterday. The meeting was not open to the press. In the official report supplied to the press, Mr Semple, in his address stated that watever else they did, they could unite to crush Massoy, and the cfowd that were out to smash the working class organisation with policeman's baton and soldier's rides. Applause. After a lengthy discussion it was decided to invite two delegates from the United Labour party and two from the Independent Workers of the world to confer.
