The court at Agra wag crowded yesterday during the continuation of the trial of Clark, Mrs Fulham and a servant named Budha on the charge of the murder of Mrs Clark last month. The railway stationmaster stated that on th« night of the murder Clark went to meet a friend at half-past eleven.
Maud Clark, daughter of deceased, stated that her father saw Mrs Fulham constantly. Her mother had remonstated with her father, and they had quarrelled about the incimacy with Mrs Fulham. Witness said that her mother had once said that her father was trying to poison her. On the same day her mother vomited after tea. On another occasion her mother was ill while the servant, who is involved in the charge of murder, was serving at the table. Prior to leaving the house on the night of the tragedy witness' father toH her mother to be careful of his pay as thieves were about. He returned half-an-hour after the attack on her mother. He went to her and asked her what had happened. He appeared to be sorry. The witness refused to express an opinion as to who was responsible for the crime. Mrs Clark's diary, extracts from which were read, showed that she believed that various attempts were being made to poison her.
