NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. CHRSTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS. TTOLIDAY EXCURSION TICKETS J-l will be issued from any Btation to any station on the North Island Main Line and Branches,, from 18th December. 1912, to 2nd January, 1913 (inclusive), available.for return up to and including 13th February, 1913. From 18th December to 6th January (both dates inclusive) excursion tickets issued at any station in the Auckland district NORTH of Taumarunui will NOT be available by the ordinary and extra Auckland-Welling-ton Express trains unless such tickets are for Taumflrunui or South thereof. From 18th December to 6th January (both days inclusive) Extra Express train will leave Auckland for Wellington at 10.0 p.m. on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and Wellington for Auckland at 12.35 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Dur ing the same dates the 9.10 p.m. Ordinary express train, Auckland to Wellington, will take passengers from Auckland to Waiouru, Taihape, and stopping stations SOUTH of Taihape. This train will NOT pick up passengers between Mercer and Palmerston North (inclusive) except those for Waiouru. During same dates the 11.50 a.m. express train, Wellington to Auckland, will take passengers from Wellington for Taihape and stations north of Taihape only. This train will NOT stop between Palmerston North and Mercer (inclusive) to pick up passengers. From 18th December to 6th January (inclusive), exoress trains will leave Auckland daily (Sundays excepted) for Rotorua, at 10.0 a.m., for Taumarunui and Cambridge at 10.18 a.m., for Thames and Waihi at 1 11.0 a.m. Express trains for Auckland will leave Rotorua at 9.30 a.m., Taumarunui 7.30 a.m., Thames 9.36 a.m., Waihi 9.55 a.m., and Cambridge at 12.5 p.m. The 10.0 a.m. express train from Auckland will NOT stop at stations between Auckland and Frankton (Pukekohe excepted) except to pick up passengers for Rotorua line. On TUESDAY, 24th December, a Special Express train will leave Taumatunui for Auckland at 10.20 p.m. A special train leaving Rotorua for Frankton at 9.0 p.m. on TUESDAY, 24th December, will connect at Frankton with this train. On THURSDAY, 2nd January a Special Express train will leave Auckland for Taumarunui at 10.35 p.m., connecting at Frankton with 5.0 a.m. Express train, Frankton to Rotorua, on Friday morning.
