Floyd will be held on THURSDAY, the 19th day of December, 1912, and I hereby appoint the Town Clerk's Office, situated Rora street, as the place, and THURSDAY, the 12th day December, 1912, up to Noon, as the day ana time for receiving nominations of Candidates for such office. BOROUGH OF TE KUITI. "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," "The Local Bodies Loan • Act, 1908." and the amendments thereto. THE Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby gives public notice that it proposes to raise a Special Loan of Thirteen thousand pounds (£13,000) for the purpose of construction and improvement of the roads and footpaths in the principal business and residential streets within the borough;the extension of the water system; erection of an impounding dam at the water supply intake; the diversion of the river at the junction of Rora Btreet and Waiteti road; street surface drainage; and other requisite works; and for the re-payment thereof to make an annually recurring Special Rate not exceeding one penny in the pound upon the capital value of the whole Borough for the purpose of providing the required security and to meet the interest and sinking fund charges during the currency of the Baid loan, which will be for a period not exceeding 41 years. It is proposed to pay out of the said Loan the cost of raising same, together with the first year's interest thereon. By Order, EDWIN HENRY HARDY, Mayor.
