CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. A meeting of the executive! of the To Kuiti Chamber of Commerce whb held at Messrs Mackay and Joneß' office yesterday afternoon, Mr E. H. Hardy, presiding. A letter was read from the secretary of the proposed Chambers of Commerce Association inviting the To Kuiti body to join the association.--Resolved that the To Kuiti Chamber become affiliated with the association. [ The secretary was authorised to interview the local utationmasler with respect to having a crane provided at the railway station for the loading and unloading of heavy material. It was unanimously resolved to invite the co-operation of the Borough Council and County Council in extending an invitation to the Hon. W. H. Merries, Native Minister, who is to visit To Kuiti at an early date. A letter was received from Messrs Bell and Kinnane in appreciation of the action of the chamber in assisting to have the mail service bewteen To rTiimrl ■ '
