GUN CLUB.
There was a fair muster of members at last Saturday's meeting, especially when the other special attractions are taken into consideration. Several sweepstakes and private mutches were shot oil', and some very close shooting resulted, in one case all hut one entrant having to fire again. For the information of absentees, it may be stated that dark horses are beginning to show up. Sweepstakes resulted as follows: Six birds: Mr Brathwaile. Three birds: Mr Brathwaite. Three birds: Mr Birkett. Three birds: Mr Birkett. Three birds: Mr Brathwaite. Three birds: Mr Birkett. In view of the form displayed, it will bo interesting to watch any shoot at which there is a full turn-out of members. Next Saturday at J.:it) p.m. tiring will re-commence.
