TE KUITI SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
A meeting of tho To Kuiti School Committee was held on Thursday coning in the Chronicle ofiico, Mr J. F. Walsh presiding. Tho resignation of Mr P. Floyd was received and accepted with regret, the members making appreciative reference to the excellent work rendered by Mr Floyd. Mr Robinson consented to act as secretary until a permanent secretary was appointed. Messrs Robinson and Steel were appointed auditors, and Messrs Walsh and Steel a visiting committee for the ensuing month. The chairman reported that he and the Rev. E. S. Wayne had visited the school regularly during the past month and found everything in exellont order. Me made special reference to tho state of the garden plots, and paid a high tribute to tho headmaster and staff for their work. It was decided to request that tho vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr Floyd be filled by the appointment of Dr Mcßao.
