LAND TAKEN FOR THE PURPOSES OF A QUARRY IN BLOCK IV., OTANAKE SURVEY DISTRICT, WAITOMO COUNTY. (L.S.) ISLINGTON, Governor. PROCLAMATION. WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Pubilc Works Act, 1908, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, for the purposes of a quarrv in Block IV., Otanake Survey District: And whereas the Council of the Borough of Te Kuiti haß laid before the Govenor a memorial, accompanied by a map (in duplicate), and also the statutory declaration, as required by the Public Works Act, 1908: Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Barron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said quarry, and shall vest in the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Te Kuiti; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect from and after the fourteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
