FIRE BRIGADE RE-UNION.
A rB-union of the members of the old Fire Brigade was held in Messrs Hattaway and Fitzpatrick's Bample rooms on Saturday evening. There was a fair attendance and Mr J. Rutherford presided. Various musical items were rendered during the evening, Mr J. Hetet, junr., presiding at the piano, and a very pleasant evening was spent. The following toasts were honoured during the evening:— "Fire Brigades," Mr Jane Messrs Cantlon and Quirk; "Visitors," Mr J. Eriksen—Messrs Young, Hetet and Langston; "Boya of the Old Brigade," Mr Young—Messrs Vause, Haynes and Nicholson; "The Present Brigade," Mr Fletcher—Mr Flett; 'Absent Members," Mr Sowry—Mr Keeley. The usual toasts to the "Ladies" and the "Press" were also honoured.
