TE AHUROA ROAD GRANT.

REPORT TO BE OBTAINED

With respect to tha uncertainty as to the road for which the grant of £I2OO, which appears on the Estimates for Te Ahuroa road, is intended, representations have been made by the Waitomo County Council concerning the matter, and the following reply has been recei"ed from the Hon. W. Fraser, Minister of Public Works:—

"I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 25th inst., covering a letter addressed to you by the clerk of the Waitomo County Council with respect to a subsidy for the Te Ahuroa road; and have to state that I am obtaining a report on the position of the road in question."
