OTHER VOICES HEARD. I FIVE MORE BODIES FOUND. Hobart, Tuesday. After fearful suspense the glad tidings were received from the 1000 ft level that a cord bad been pullol up with a message atttached that candle" should bo lowered to 40 men in No. 40 stope at tho 1000 ft level. Thin wan signed by Ryan, and in accepted as an intimation that 40 are alive on thai, level* though obviously some, if not nearly all, must bo in a pretty bad condition through entombment since Saturday morning. Later advices state that food ware successfully sent- to tho 1000 ft level.
A note waß received from tho entombed that they were in good spirits and awaited tho cage. A RESCUER'S OI'INION.
A practical miner who in with » rescue party states: "I don't give any hope except for the men who reached the No. .'II crosscut at tho 1000 ft level. That is the only place in the mine where they would bo safe. They have air pipes there, and would be able to keep off tho smoke. It is reported that the 'llooft level will be flooded owing to the pumps not working, but it is stated that it in unlikely that any men are there. BODIES AT 700 FT LEVEL.
During- yesterday relays of rescuers managed to holo though tho engino winze and reach the 700fl. level. Subsequently an official notice wan posted announcing that the bodies of live miners, who had dicri from suffocation,, had been found in ths level. A sixth body was seen, but tho smoke prevented tho rescuers from reaching it. VOICES HEARD. The members of one of the rescuo parties report that they heard voices in tho 700 ft; level, but; were unable to proceed in the direction from whence tho voices came.
