SCULLING CHAMPIONSHIP.
BARRY DEFEATS DURNAN. AFTER LEADING ALL THROUGH. By Telegraph.—Press Association.-- Copyrifrilt London, Monday. The race on the Thames to-day between Ernest Barry and Edward Durnan, Canadian champion, for the world's sculling championship, resulted in an easy win for Barry. He went to the front at the start, and by the time Barnes Bridge was reached was eight lengths ahead. From then on to the finishing poßt he sculled easily, and passed the post with a lead of two lengths.
The winner's time was 22m. 31s.
