AMUSEMENTS.

CURLE'S PICTURES

At the Skating Rink to-night the above company will screen a monster programme, included in which will be that splendid Irish drama "Shamua O'Brien," which should be the means of attracting many picture-goers. It is a stupendous production, and full of pathos and humour. The picture entitled "Beetles" is described as a most marvellous production, and introduces beetles which perform in a most human-like manner. "Me and Bill," is a drama which all will appreciate, and "Fireman to Engineer" is a remarkable story of concentration. The scenics are of the best material, and a film of great interest will be the "Assembly of the Fleet off Spithead," and "A Review nf the British Navy." The comedies are extra good, and free from vulgarity. On Thursday evening the company advertise to show with a complete change of programme, which contains many star attractions, and which can be confidently recommended to those who appreciate the best productions procurable. The complete programme is advertised in another column.

HAYWARD'S PGTURES. Hayward's star picture to be ahown at the Town Hall on Friday evening next is a truly amusing one, entitled "Matrimonial Squalls," which for 3000 ft of film, is so funny that a laugh per foot is a fair average. The Star will be accompanied by a host of other pictures, including "The Leading Man," "His Waterloo," "Dupin Seeks a Situation," "Indian Pride," a beautifully coloured story of Indian life. "From Orianda to Scimeiz," a scenic, and the latest tathe Gazete.
