The Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report: — Wesifi'eld Yards. Un Wednesday, fat cattle were yarded in average numbers, and sold at late quotations, Best oxen sold at 32s per lOOlbs, others 28s to 30s, cows and heifers 26s to 28s per lOOlbs; steers sold at from £6 12s 6d to £lB, cows and heifers £4 10s to £9 15s. A draft of 16 steers from Messrs Gollan Brothers, anmure, averaged £ls 18s 9d. Calves were yarded in large numbers, and sold at late rates. Heavy vealers sold at from £3 to £4 Is, medium weights £2 to £2 18s, others 22s to 355, lighter sorts 10b to 20s, small and fresh-dropped 2s 6d to 6s. Sheep came forward in large numbers and were better worth, advancing in prices, although quotations are not as high aa the previous week. Best weth<?r3 sold at from 22s to 25s 6d, others 18s to 21s, i eavy ewes to 255, ohersto 12s 6d to 19s, hoggets 13s to 17s. Spring lamba came forward in good supply, and sold at last week's rates. Best quality sold at from 17s to 20s 6d, others 13s to 16s 9d. Pigs were yarded in usual supply, and again sold at high values. Large baeoners £3 15s to £5, large porkers £2 to £2 16s, porkers 30s to 3Ss, slips 20s to 255, weane-s 13s to J 9s. Messrs Abraham and Williams. Ltd., report on their JchnsonVille sale as follows:—We offered a good yarding of exceptionally prime bullocks for this time of the year. b. full entry of sheep came and everything sold well at late rates. Extra ' prima weight of bullocks £l2 to £l2 '7s 6d ijrime bullock £ll 5s to £ll I 15s, lighter £lO 7s 6d to £lO 10s, vealers prime 455, others 22s to 28s, i extra heavy wethers 28s 6d, prime 1 wethers 25s 6d to 265, extra prime heavy ewes 25s to 25s 7d, good ewes 22s 9d, medium ewes 21a, plain 20s. Lambs were easier, price 14a to 15s Bd, light 18s to 18s 6d.
