GOVERNMENT'S PROGRAMME.

Discussing the legislative programme that the Government propose to put through before the end of the session, the Prime Minister stated this morning that he intended to proceed with all the bills of importance on the Order Paper, in addition to those before the committees, incuding the Land Bill, also the one and threequarter million Loan Bill, and Defence Amendment Bill, among others. Although he expect 3 the session to finish by the end of the month, the Government will keep the House together till the programme is put through. Speaking of Legislative Council reform, Mr Massey declared that the Government would stand or fall by its policy proposals, and Council reform was one of them.
