BOROUGH OF TE KUITI. THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS ACT. THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT. THE Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby gives public notice that it proposes to raise a Special Loan of Twenty - one Thousand pounds (£21,000) for the purpose of construction and improvement of the roads and footpaths in the princioal business and residential streets within the Borough; the extension of the sewerage and water Bystems; erection of an impounding Dam at the Water Supplv intake; the diversion of the river at the junction of Rora street and Waited road, erection of a bridge over the river at Sheridan street; and other requisite works, conditionally upon the combined rate of interest and sinking fund not exceeding six per centum per annum, and for the repayment thereof to make an annually recurring Special Rate not exceeding One penny in the Pound upon the capital value of the whole of the Borough for the purpose of providing the required security and to meet the interest and sinking fund charges during the currency of the said loan.
