AMUSEMENTS.

HAYWARD'S PICTURES

The new series of pictures at the Town Hall last night attracted a very good house. One of the nest scenics pictures that has been shown in Te Kuiti for some time was "VieWß of Paris." The film was beautifully coloured, and most of the Parisian buildings, parks and walks, were shown. "Pate's Buffetings," "Pathe Gazette," "Becky Finds a Husband," "Fighting Dan McCool," etc., completed a very interesting programme. To-night and Monday a complete change will be submitted. The star drama entitled "Bound and Released" is a subject that will readily appeal with exceptional force to all lovers of picture drama. The programme includes other good dramas entitled "Under Mexican Skies" and "The Three Sultanas." The scenics portion is well represented in "Birds and Animals of Brazil" and "The Manners and Customs of the Siamese." Other interesting films are the Austalian Gazette and the Gaumont Graphic, "Marriage of Billy," and "Who's Boss, Eh?"

VALERIE COLLINS,

• Next Tuesday evening a musical treat is promised *to Te Kuiti townspeople when the concert company headed by Miss Valerie Collins, the gifted contralto, will appear in the Town Hall, The reputation earned by Miss Collins is a very high one, and the members of the supporting company are recognised as capable and brilliant vocalists, entertainers and muieianss. The whole company arrives with the highest crredentials.

CURLE'S PICTURES

Wednesday evening's entertainment at the Alexandta Rink promises to be of a high order. "Captain King's Rescue" is sure to be interesting, dealing as it does with incidents of the Mexican Revolution. "The Spider's Web" is a fine drama dealing with false company promotion, and contains some very exciting situations and is a warning to the unwary and those who would get rich quick. Other good dramas are "Out of the Depths" and "A Mexican Romance." Some very amusing comedies, good scenics, and the latest London Gazette go to make a very interesting programme.
