FOOTBALL.
TE KUITI CLUB. A general meeting of the above club was held in the Chronicle office on Saturday evening last, a large number of members being present. The president presided. It was resolved that a ballot be taken to decide who shuuld receive the medals, donated by Messrs Moorhouse, Matthew, Howarth and Mora for the past season's play. The following was the result of the ballot:— Best back. F. R. Matthews; best forward, W. C Healey; most improved back, L. Coldstream most improved forward, N. L. Delaney. The result of the ballot was in each case greeted with applause. A sub - committee, consisting of Messrs Roth.ery, Matthews and Hornibrook were appointed to make arrangements for purchasing the caps won by the club during the season. It was resolved that a ball be held at an early date and tnat a committee be appointed to make arrangements in connection therewith. After general discussion on matters affecting the club, a most successful meeting closed with the customary vote of thanks to the chair.
