PRINCE IN EXILE.
OF THE LOYALTY GROUP. Vy Telegraph.—Press Association. —CopyriglW Sydney, Tuesday. W. J. Watriana who claims to be tha native king, of the Loyalty Islands and for many yeara a resident of Sydney states that he has interviewed Mr Fisher with a reference to a proposal to transfer the islands to the Commonwealth and that Mr Fisher awaits a dispatch from the Secretary of State for the Colonies (Mr L. V. Harcourt) with regard to negotiations in the matter now proceeding between Britain and France. According to Watriana, he quarrelled with his father 22 years ago over hiß father consenting to grant a protectorate to France and came to Sydney where he worked as a gardener and coachman for some years till his mother discovered him and supplied him with funds.
