The contest in Iho A section of the Maniapoto Rubgy Unijn competition, between Otorohanga and To Kuiti, which is to be played at Otorohanga on Saturday next should prove highly../ interesting. The game decides premiership for tho. season and both teams will have their beat men in tho field. The teams have already met twice this season and each side has been credited with a win. An extra carriage will be attached to the train
on the return trip. Mr A. IS. Greshani, secretary of tho union has received a telegram from Mr Frost, chairman of tho Auckland Referees' Association, intimating that a referee from Auckland will be allotted for the match. The 13 section of tho competitions under the ausnices of the Maniapoto Rugby Union lias been won by Aria. The winners are prepared to come to To Kuiti and play the \vitinera ot! the A section. Information has been received by tho secretary of the Maniapoto Rubgy Union to tho edoct that tho Taranaki Maori representative rugby team will' probably visit To Kuiti next week.
