A highly interesting debate should take place on Thursday evening on the Liquor Control Bill introduced into the local Parliament by the Ellison Ministry. It is intended to treat the Bill as a non-party measure and the public are invited to take part in the discussion for the purpose of getting the local opinion on a subject which intimately concerns the whole district. An accident occurred to the little daughter of Mrs Micich yesterday. The child was playing on a verandah and accidentally slipped and broke its thigh. Dr Fullerton was called in and attended the patient, who is progressing favourably.
