It has transpired that the Moslem Malissori plainsmen attacked two battalions between Taliernolevu and I'rizrenJ. Some of the troops deserted and others surrendered. Three hundred soldiers, including many Young Tiu-k officers belonging to the Committee of Union and Progress, were killed. Six hundred wore taken prisoners and 10(10 rides and 'Mi loads of ammunition were captured. There are indications (hat the wholo of Albania has risen against the Committee of Union anil Progress. The troops are mostly more hostile to the Committee than to the insurgents. The recent entry of Prince Hassan, the Albanian rebel leader, into Prishtina was unopposed on the Porto's instructions and in pursuance of the policy of conciliation. During the confusion prisoners escaped., seized arms and iiredon tho gendarmes. Eighteen were killed and 1 worewounded. Path sides finding the Ministry pliant, Prince Hassan has proclaimed himself director of the general rebel movement, and with a force of 50,000 has seized the telegraphs. Turkish oflieiais everywhere have been expelled. The rebels control tho whole province except Ipek, with tho tacit; consent or the over co-oparation of a large portion of the loal forces. They are demanding the dissolution of tho Chamber of Deputies. Tho Porte has resolved to dissolve Parliament constitutionally when the Chamber of Dennises exhausts its
power to resist certain hilln. Meanwhile a manifesto issued to the Albanians announces that thn employment of armed forces against Ihem hereafter is forbidden, promines annual elections, anil empowers a commission to arrange reforms.
