A RAILWAY PROPOSAL.

Mr G. Elliott, un behalf of the Mokau Railway League, advocated the claims of a railway scheme comprising a connection between Mangaroa and Kawhia harbour, and also connection with the Main Trunk line. Mr Fraser said such a programme was not feasible at present, but the information was valuable and he was glad to have had it placed before him.
