CANTLON, Poundkeeper. ds^& The following Proclamation, which appeared in the Npw Zealand Gazette of the 18th day of July, IPI2, is hereby publicly notified: — LAND TAKEN FOR SANITARY PURPOSES IN BLOCK XV., ORAHIRI SURVEY DISTRICT. (1.5.) ISLINGTON, Governor. A PROCLAMATION. [7HEREAS the land described in V' the Schedule hereto is required to be taken under the Public Works Act, 1908, for sanitary purposes in Block XV., Orahiri Survey District: — And whereas the Te Kuiti Borough Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act. Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powerß and authorities vested in me by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for sanitary purposes, and shall vest in the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Te Kuiti as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I du also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
