London. July 15. Four hundred dockers, with federation tickets in their lints, and their wives and children, marched in procession yesterday to the East End to a workhouse.
The women dropped out, and the men demanded outdoor relief.
This was refused, and the three hundred entered the workhouse. Many refused porridge, and were supplied with other food. The movement is clean? defeated, and an attempt ia now being made to save the face of the leaders. Paris, July 15. Seamen strikers, accompanied by their wives, made a demonstration at Marseilles a gainst the rise in bread. The stoned the police, ten of whom, with 20 strikers, were injured, some seriously. Revolver shots were exchanged. In all 60 arrests were made. Newcastle, July 15.
The wheelers and shiftmen's executive resigned after an uproarious meeting of the union.

Twelve thousand Liverpool dockerß have struck as a protest against the inauguration of the clearing houuo scheme t3 facilitate the collection of insurance contributions.
Mr Bury, manager of the Cadeby Mine, haß succumbed to his injuries. Many women and children were trampeld on in Hyde Park during a stampede following the baton charges and were treated in hastily improvised hospital camps. George Landsbury, M.P., was roughly handled.
Several rioters have been sentenced to various terms of imprisonment up to two months.
