HAY WARDS' PICTU R ES.

Hayward's Pictures were screened on last Wednesday evening and despite the wretched weather a fair number attended. The star- film, "Tracked Down," was a thirlilng drama, and was highly appreciated. A mammoth programme is arranged next Monday evening, amongst the star films will be screened a magnificent dramatic film of over 3000 feet in length entitled "The Course of True Love." The staging for the production of thi3 drama cost an immense amount oi money, and is well worthy of public patronage. The usual series of dramatic, comic, scenic and educational films will support this star film, , CURLE'S PICTURES. A very attractive programme was shown at the Rink on Thursday evening, when the seating accommodation provided was taxed to its utmost. The attraction of the evening was the film entitled "Zigomar v. Nick Carter," and it was received with applause. Several supporting films were shown and a high standard of pictures were screened. The usual weekly programme for next Thursday is advertised in our columns.

PROFESSOR SWALLOW'S CONCERT.

In another column Professor Swallow announces his forthcoming concert, in the Town Hall, on Wednesday, July 24th, in which he gives the list of artists engaged, enumerating the names of the best and most popular singers and players of Te Kuiti. Tihere are to be specially-numbered chairs for the dress circle, the concert itself is cetruin to be a brilliant one, and, in addition, thera will be a bright moonlight night. Further details may be seen from the advertisement in this issue.
