KING COUNTRY CENTRAL A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

The executive committee of the above association met in the secrery's office on Monday afternoon last. The president, Mr Somerville, presided. . Dr Paxton tendered his resignation as hon. surgeon, which was accepted with regret. Dr Mcßae was appointed hon. surgeon in place of Dr Paxton. Mr W. Taylor wrote regarding prize money and also asked for information regarding the points prize awarded at last show. The secretary of the Waimarino A. and P. Association wrote stating that his society had decided to hold their show on the third Thursday in February, 1913, and hopei this date would not clash with the King Country show. —It was resolved that a reply be sent to the effect that the date upon which the King Country show is held lagely depends upon the date fixed by the Racing Club for their meeting.

The secretary of the Auckland Society wrote stating that their spring show would be held on 28th, 29th and 30th of November. Messrs Stevens and Brittain, members of the sub-committee who were instructed to report on the ground and general arrangements in connection therewith, presented their report.—lt was resolved that the report be dealt with at a future meeting, and that the members of the sub-commit-tee be thanked for the trouble they had taken in drafting same.

The secretary was instructed to pay accounts as presented as soon as funds permit. Resolved that the Racing Club be asked to co-operate with the A. and P. Association in approaching the Railway Department with regard to the siding at Te Kami station. The following new members were elected: —Messrs H. Foster, J. Bones. H. M. C. Briscoe. W. Briscoe, Gillanders senr., Dr Mcßae, A. Weir, T. Hardy and S. A. Carr.
