Toe New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:— On 22nd inst., in conjunction with the Farmers' Co operative Auctioneering Cc, Ltd., we submitted 310 cows on account, of Mr Jas. Taylor, Bardo vie, who i 3 giving up dairying, ths sals being held at the Cambridge saleyards There was a large attendance. buyers being paesent from King Country, Ohakune, Mangere, Otahuhu, Thames district, and all parts of Waikato. There was brisk competition throughout, and most satisfactory prices realised. All sold, an average of £8 14s 3d being obtained including cows with threequarters. PricesCows carrying second and third calf due early £lO to £ls 10s, fourth and fifth calf £7 10a to £9. others more backward £6 10s to £8 103. a few unsound cows £5 to £7 103, milk waggons £2B to £39. cans 20s to 275. At Mr A. Blackman's sale of Holstein and Jersey cows on 21st inst., near Cambridge, prices ranging from 10} to 20 guineas were obtained.
