"VfOTICE is hereby given that it is -L' proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work, to wit. the construction of a road in the Blocks IV., Maungamangero, and 11.. Awakino East Survey Districts, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Mahoenui, and is there open for inspection ; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington. WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 3908, for a certain public work, to wit, for the purpose of a street in Block IV., Otanake Survey District: And whereas the Te Kuiti Borough Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act: Now, therefore, I, John Ponyder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington. the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a street; and I do hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentysecond day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
