TE KUITI DEBATING SOCIETY.

The third sitting of Parliament in connection with the Te Kuiti Debating Society will be held in the Municipal Hall on Thursday evening, when thd Defence Bill will be debated. The land proposals of the Govrnment will also be further dealt with and a close division is expected on the leasehold proposals. It is understood that considerable unrest exists in the rankß of the Government, the more Radical members of the party feeling entirely out of sympathy with many of the Ministerial proposal, and it is quite possible a no-confidence motion would meet with their support.
