KING COUNTRY A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
The executive of the above association met in the county office on Monday afternoon, when all ttte members of ftp committee were present.
Four applications were received for the position of secretary. On a ballot being taken the application of Mr L. C. Harton proved successful. It wa3 resolved that ths regular meetings of the executive be heid in the secretary's office of the second Monday in each month at 3 p.m. A number of new members were elected. The following sub-cammittse was appointed to go into the matter of the cost of building a home industry shed on the showground and also the general arrangements of the ground: Messrs Gadsby ; Stevens, Br;team and Major Lusk. It was resolved that the secretary take up his duties from date, June 18th.
