The sculling match held last week for the Willison Cup, resulted in a win for Mr Harry Richards. A fourth challenger in Mr Neilson, of Kawhia, has come forward, and the next contest, on June liith, : s expected to attract a good deal of attention. Euchre parMes, etc., under the management of Mrs WillHon, have been started. The object is a worthy one, viz: that of finding funds to improve the hall. A football club has been formed. An impromptu m°eting was held last Saturday, and a general meeting of club members is called for Saturday next to confirm or amend resolutions passed. The Wouldes' benefit dance, held or, Empire Day, was well attended, and was so well managed that £S 2s 2d was paid over to the benefit fund. The following is a list of subscriptions paid up:—Thos.
