HOCKEY.
BIG ATTRACTION ON MONDAY. On Monday next two teams of hockey players from Te Awamutu visit Te Kuiti and wil play two matches, the ladies' match starting at 2 and the men's match at 3 p.m. Judging from the form shown by the local teams this season two very good games should be witnessed. It is understood that both the Te Awamutu teams will be much improved to what they have had before.
A general meeting of the ladies' and men's clubs met last evening and concluded the arrangements for Monday. A dance will bs held in the Skating Rink to which the public are invited. The charge of admission will be—gent's 2s, and ladies bring baskets. The floor will undergo a thorough preparation and good music has been secured. Given fine weather a real good day's enjoyment should eventuate. The. following are the teams: — LADIES. Goal.—G. Nicholl. Backs.—L. Boddie, I. Graham. Halves —B. McKay, V. Ellison, C. Bayly. Forwards. —C. Boddie, L. McKenzie, J. McDonald, B. McDonald, M. Bayl ey. Emergencies. —C. McKenzie (half), R. McKay (goal). MEN'S. Goal.—Allison. Backs. —Turner, McColl. Halves. —Gosnell, Price, Lissaman. Forwards.—J. Hetet, J. Burgess, Mulloy, Anderson, Semmens. Emergencies. —Dewar (goal), Mitchell (fulback), half Taylor (half), Humphrey (forward). Te Kuiti men's team journeyed to Taumarunui on Thursday to play_ the local eleven. The game ended in a draw—two goals each.
