The High Commißßioner'B cablo dated London, April 13th. is as follows (quotations unless otherwise specified are average market pricea on spot):—■ Mutton —The market »s quiet, but, steady. Light weights are roported to be in small Bupply. Canterbury mutton is not quoted, but the average price is nominally 4Jd, North Island 4d for light weights, 3|d fot heavy weights. Lamb. —The market is firm, with jrood demand for all lamb. Canterbury sf;d, fores 3id. lieof.—The market is firm, with better demand. New Zealand hindquarters 4Jd, fores 3id. Hutter. —The market is dull, and there is less demand, holderß being disposed to meet buyers. The average prices for the week are: Choicest New Zealand butter 121s, Australian 117.5, Argentine 1161, Danish 128s, Siberian 117s. Cheese. —Good demand. The average price for the week of finest New Zealand cheese is 73s 6d.
