KIRITEHERE-MOEATOA.

Own Correspondent. There has been little summer weather this season, and winter is almost upon us again. The area of bush felled has been leas than in past years, so that burns have not been a matter of great concern. The Marokopa river private telephone has been erected and communication is established between Marokopa and Pomorangi. Button insulators and ordinary No. 10 wire are used, which seem to serve the purpose very well. Green poles have been used where ordinary timber is not procurable, and these may easily be replaced when necessary.
