NEWCASTLE COAL MINERS.
CONFERENCE PROCEEDING. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Oopyrigiit Received March 20, 9.20 a.m. Newcastle, This Day. The conference has mutually argued to the question of the abolition of the afternoon shift being referred to a conference conciliation committee for final treatment, each side appointing two extra members to the committee while the question is being considered. The joint committee considers the matter to-day. Both parties agreed to abide by the decision.
