THE EFFICIENT FARMER.
A wel-known American recently said:--"The time has passed when the inefficient worker can make money on the farm. The place for the inefficient man is in the factory. Thfi time will come when the most efficient men must work the farms. This is the only class of men that can now make a good living for themselves on the farm, and help to feed the non-pro-ducers. Agriculture is a combination of about all the sciences, so it gives an opportunity to use all the intelligence any man can acquire, and it is not a trade subject. Wo need High Schools agriculture as a normal course for primary teachers. It is necessary to have agriculture taught in schools."
