An extraordinary occurrence is reported from Aria. It appears that Mr 11. K. Lewis' mail coach was waiting osvv ni'Hit as usual on Monday last. Durinj; the the eoneh was seen by .Mr Jloiloway. to boon lire. Mr.Lewis was at oneo called and after considerable trouble the lire was subdued. Upon examination it was discovered that the tire had apparently been planned. Kerosene had been freely used on the coach and on a consignment of butler boxen which wore ioaded (v.) the ba?k of the vehicle. The coach is seriously damaged, the roof and two back seats beini;- destroyed. The matter is in the hands of the police.
