The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:— At Hamilton on February 22nd, sheep came forward in excess of advertised numbers, and all sold at, most satisfactory prices. Good porkers were also in demand, but small pigs were not wanted. Cattle were dull of sale. Prices- -Fat lambs 12s 3d to 14s, fat wethers 14s to 14s 9d, 2 tooth store wethers 10s 6d, forward lambs Ids 3d to 10s 9d, shorn lambs 5s Bd, fat ewes 10s 9d to lis Od, forward ewes 8s to 9s lOd, store pigs 29s to 355. weaners 7s to 13s, bacon pigs 465, fat cows £5 7s (id to £5 10s killab'o cows £4 15s to £4 17s fid, fat heifers £5 to £5 10s, store cows £3 7s 6d to £3 12s 6d, cavles 29s to 40s, heavy bulls £l> 12s to £6 15s, dairy cows at profit £6 12s 6d to £9 10s, heifers in calf £4 to £5 ss, unbroken horses suitable for Sight express £7 15s to £lO sa.
