AMUSEMENTS.
EMPIRE PICTURE COMPANY. On Monday evening at the Town Hall, T'a Kuiti, the Empire Company will present another splendid programme. The particular star piece will be "Rob Roy," the great Scottish drama. This has been shown in Hamilton and Cambridge during the week to very big audiences and all who have seen it are of the opinion that it is one of the best of its kind ever produced. The fine Scottish scenery alone, is said to be well worth the pries uf admission, Then there will be a stirring sporting story entitled "A Race for a Bride," which will also show the race for the great International steeplechase; "Lady Islington at Government House, Christchurch," and "Rabitting in Mew Zealand" will be topicals of interest; "Pathe Gazette," "Scenes in Cadiz," Niagara Falls," and Rapids "The Mher and the Thieves" "Tiny Tim," "The Sheriff," "Over the Chaffing Dish," "A Sporting Offer," and several other pictures will all help to make an excellent progarmme.
