TE KUITI RACING CLUB.
A committee meeting of the above club was held in the secretary's office on Monday evening last. The accounts showed a profit on the meeting of £320. The secretary of the Bay of Plenty Jockey Club wrote asking for information regarding the starting machines. It was decided that all available information be forwarded. Mr J. J'ackman, who acted as starter at the meeting, wrote, stating that he had found the starting machines thoroughly satisfactory, also everything in connection with the meeting. He congratulated the club on the successful meeting.
The offer submitted by Mr Marks for working the totalisator for a term of five years, was accepted. Accounts amounting to £lB2 were passed for payment. A sub-committee was appointed to go into the matter of further improvement to the race track.
